Hi! I'm Robyn [I go by nybor.g online] and I'm an independent artist based in the Peak District, UK.
My main interests are in worldbuilding. I love to illustrate fantasy characters, draw maps, design houses and all the other things that round out a make-believe world. I also enjoy 3D work, and have made simple scenes in Blender for fun.
Currently I'm developing my personal fantasy IP, codenamed "Project Overmorrow", a high-fantasy tale of a young woman who leaves home only to find out her whole world was build on a lie.
I was an avid artist when I was younger, but gave up during university [circa 2013] as I was tired of being "bad" at art and was convinced I'd never get any better. Then in 2020, you-know-what happened, and furloughed Robyn suddenly had all the time in the world again. My heart drew me back to drawing and I never looked back.
Since then, I've realised artistic skill is indeed learned, and I have been on a journey of improvement and nurturing my love for art ever since.
I hope my drawings and videos bring you comfort and value, and inspire you to pursue the things in life that make you happy.
I consider myself quite introverted, and dream of owning a small cottage somewhere quiet, where I'll raise ducks, grow lavender bushes and drink coffee quietly on the back porch listening to the birds sing. [I don't want much...]
When I'm not drawing, I also enjoy writing, miniature making, acting, baking, travelling and thrifting.
